Marc and Mike formed a special bond while working together in 2005.   Both Mike and Marc always had dreams of owning their own company.   Their combination of experience and knowledge to the building industry led to the establishment of Distinctive Custom Cabinetry in 2007. Since, Mike and Marc have partnered together in developing Distinctive as one of the largest and most custom cabinetry shops in Arizona.

 Mike, an Arizona native, fell in love with woodworking while in high school.  He began at a custom cabinet shop as a sander. Mike quickly worked his way up, mastering every task in the factory and field before turning himself to sales.  Mike’s creativity and innovation can transform any customer concept into any one of Distinctive’s award-winning designs. His patience and thorough attention to detail guarantees that all projects meet all wants and expectations. Mike is blessed with his wife Carrie, his son Dylan and daughter Madalyn.

 Marc, a native of Iowa moved to Arizona in 2003.   Marc’s background is in windows and patio doors as he spent summers in college working in the door factory then eventually he moved into sales and sales management.   Marc brings a passion for satisfying and developing relationships with customers. His enthusiasm and excitement is unwavering. Marc is not only a fan of cabinets but he loves his family and his Iowa Hawkeyes.  Marc is married to Ellen and he has four daughters, Maree, Ellie, Audrey and Jolie.
